Careology provides a digital platform for cancer care that connects patients with their families and healthcare providers. The data-driven system aims to help individuals manage their diagnosis more effectively.

London-based health-tech platform Careology has secured £1.1m in seed funding from a group of prominent UK health and technology angel investors. The capital will be directed towards team expansion, sales and marketing initiatives, and technological development.

Founded to help cancer patients feel more in control of their treatment, the company connects individuals directly to their medical teams and families for real-time monitoring. Following its initial rollout earlier in the year, the business has also bolstered its board of directors with the appointments of Dr Henry Carleton and Alan Marks.
