The Liverpool-based personal safety application has raised a seven-figure sum from a syndicate of angel investors.
Busby operates a personal safety application alongside its sister technology RoadRadar, featuring automated incident detection for individuals ranging from cyclists to horse riders. The platform utilises machine learning to monitor activities and includes emergency contact alerts integrated with what3words.
Personal safety application Busby has secured a seven-figure investment backed by a syndicate of angel investors through the LCR Angel Network. Founded in 2019, the Liverpool-based firm intends to direct the capital towards expanding its team and developing its existing services and features. The funding coincides with the full launch of the application on Apple iOS and follows commercial partnerships with companies such as Deliveroo and Sweatcoin.
