Burleighs Gin has successfully closed its crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs, securing over £130k against an initial target of £100k. The company is now valued at £2.3m following the raise.
The fresh capital will be directed towards diversifying the product portfolio, which includes plans to introduce a non-alcoholic gin offering. Commercial Director Sam Watson noted that the business has experienced strong progression during 2020 despite pandemic challenges.
The Leicestershire-based distillery is known for high-profile partnerships, including collaborations with Leicester City FC, Leicester Tigers RFC, the Marilyn Monroe estate, and the Royal British Legion for the official Poppy Gin.
