The seed round was backed by investors including MMC Ventures, Plug and Play, and an InnovateUK Smart Grant.
BuiltAI provides an AI-powered financial modelling and investment underwriting platform designed for commercial real estate. The company helps clients analyse asset acquisition opportunities and manage existing portfolios with increased speed and accuracy.
BuiltAI has secured £2m in a seed funding round to advance its geospatial analytics technology and expand its market reach. The investment was led by former Apple and DataTiger executives Philipp Mohr and Puli Liyanagama, alongside participation from MMC Ventures, Plug and Play, and an InnovateUK Smart Grant.
The capital will be deployed to accelerate research and development efforts, refine its geospatial inference capabilities, and drive customer acquisition across the UK and European markets. The company aims to address data transparency issues in commercial property through machine learning models.
Formed out of Founder Factory, BuiltAI currently works with several prominent property groups and has analysed billions in real estate assets. The fresh funds position the firm to scale its data infrastructure and broaden its industry footprint.
From the founder
"Until now, analysing the returns of potential commercial real estate deals has been flawed due to the lack of transparent data available."
