Open banking fintech Bud has secured £63.8m in a Series B funding round led by Bellis Phantom Holdco. Additional participation came from SEI Investments and existing backers including Outward.
The capital will be directed towards enhancing the company's artificial intelligence models and supporting international expansion as client demand grows. The firm's platform is currently utilised by major financial institutions to automate affordability checks and deliver deeper financial insights to customers.
This latest financing follows a Series A round in 2019, building on years of development in transaction enrichment technology. The business continues to scale its presence in the financial services sector through automated data processing.
