Brushbox secures over £770k from nearly 300 investors on Crowdcube
The Cardiff-based subscription service exceeded its target by 154% and welcomed Pontus Noren to its board.
Brushbox is a Cardiff-based subscription service providing eco-friendly oral care products including biodegradable bamboo toothbrushes and natural toothpaste.
Cardiff-based oral care start-up Brushbox has secured over £770k in a funding round on Crowdcube, surpassing its initial goal by more than £250k. Nearly 300 investors backed the campaign, which will help facilitate the gifting of approximately 10,000 toothbrushes to disadvantaged children through a charitable scheme. Alongside the capital injection, the firm welcomed former Cloudreach chief executive Pontus Noren to its board of directors.
Founded in 2018, the subscription business delivers sustainable oral hygiene products directly to consumers as part of an effort to reduce plastic waste. The latest financing follows recognition as a notable start-up brand in Wales and growing commercial traction across the wider UK market.
