Briefcase secures £2.4m seed round from Earlybird to expand engineering headcount
Earlybird led the seed round to help the London-based startup grow its product and engineering teams.
Briefcase develops an artificial intelligence platform designed to automate complex accounting processes from bookkeeping to month end close. The startup operates from London and works with early adopters in the sector.
Briefcase has secured £2.4m in a seed funding round led by Earlybird to expand its engineering team and accelerate product development. The capital injection also drew participation from Entrepreneur First, Tiny, and several angel investors, including executives from Pennylane, Deel, Pleo, and 11X. The startup is developing artificial intelligence technology intended to handle manual bookkeeping and month-end close processes for accounting firms.
