Lakeland Industries provided the £3.5m seed investment to increase manufacturing momentum and support operations.

Bodytrak develops wearable technology that captures real-time physiological data to protect workers from heat stress and fatigue. Its platform uses in-ear sensors and cloud analytics to deliver critical safety insights.

Bodytrak has secured £3.5m in seed funding from Lakeland Industries. The capital will be deployed to scale manufacturing operations and strengthen the company position in the connected worker market.

Lakeland Industries extended its existing backing to reach an ownership stake of approximately 18 percent. Breed Reply also holds an existing stake in the business as an investor.
