Blueheart secures £1m in seed funding led by PROfounders Capital and Calm/Storm Ventures to expand its digital therapy platform.

Blueheart operates a digital sex therapy application that delivers structured relationship and sexual wellness sessions based on scientific research. The platform addresses common sexual dysfunctions through targeted cognitive and physical exercises.
Sex therapy app Blueheart has secured £1m in a seed funding round led jointly by PROfounders Capital and Calm/Storm Ventures. The capital will be directed towards expanding the application library of therapy sessions, furthering therapeutic research, and enhancing artificial intelligence capabilities.
The London-based startup offers structured programs focusing on cognitive anxieties, body positivity, and communication within relationships. Developed in partnership with expert sex therapist Dr Katherine Hertlein, the platform aims to provide an affordable digital alternative to traditional in-person sex therapy.
The fresh funding follows the beta launch of the application last year, which has since attracted several thousand users. Representatives from both lead investors will take active roles following the investment, with Rogan Angelini-Hurll joining the board.
