The pre-Series A round was led by ACF Investors with participation from a range of institutional and angel backers.
BLOK operates a hybrid network of design-led fitness studios alongside a digital training platform. The company combines physical workouts with online classes across multiple disciplines.
Hybrid fitness platform BLOK has raised £3.8m in pre-Series A bridge funding to expand its digital and physical operations. The investment was led by ACF Investors, with additional backing from Elcot Capital, The Santon Group, the UK government's Future Fund, Crowdcube, and angel investor Rob Wirszycz.
The capital will support the company's expansion of its hybrid fitness model, which merges studio sessions with home and office programmes through a single digital platform. BLOK plans to use the funds to strengthen its management and sales teams while continuing to develop its underlying technology.
The raise follows strong momentum for the business, which launched its digital channel in 2020 and currently operates physical sites in London and Manchester alongside a comprehensive schedule of live and on-demand online classes.
