Blend raises £350k in pre-seed funding to commercialise its video-based hospitality training platform.
Antler, Ada Ventures, and NoBa Capital backed the pre-seed round, which will fund the UK rollout of the paid product.
Blend develops short video content to help the hospitality industry train deskless workers through a platform tailored for the mobile generation.
London-based workplace training platform Blend has secured £350k in pre-seed funding. The round was backed by Antler, Ada Ventures, and NoBa Capital, alongside several prominent angel investors from the hospitality sector.
The capital will be used to launch the company's paid product commercially across the UK market. Blend combines short-form video content with onboarding tools to help hospitality operators rapidly train frontline staff and reduce management hours.
The startup was conceived during an Antler residency in late 2022 by a founding team with backgrounds in advertising, technology, and sustainability operations.
From the founder
"As a founder, I’ve always been learning new things – from low-code programming to UX/UI basics and project management, even if it’s something I’ve never done before. I truly believe in the power of continuous learning and self-improvement. Our project is here to help every team member learn new things and unlock new opportunities, no matter how you like to learn, what language you speak, or what generation you belong to."

Investor perspective
"Blend is exactly the type of team that we get excited about at Antler. Their new mobile SaaS platform provides video-first onboarding for the deskless workforce. Enabled by AI, Blend provides hospitality owners with real-time analytics on employee progress, leading up to a 50% reduction in manager training time. We are delighted to have supported Blend from day zero and look forward to supporting them as they grow and continue to disrupt the market."
