BetterPoints provides behavioural change technology designed to encourage sustainable mobility and lower carbon footprints. The platform uses gamification and data insights to help individuals adopt environmentally friendly daily habits.

BetterPoints has secured £800k in a Seed funding round led by the Cass Entrepreneurship Fund, with matched investment from the Government's Future Fund. The business will deploy the capital to expand its headcount and capitalise on increased demand for sustainable transport solutions driven by pandemic lockdowns.

The company operates a B2B2C model, supplying its platform to corporate clients and public sector organisations. By engaging users through gamified rewards and clear emissions data, BetterPoints aims to drive long-term environmental and health benefits.

From the founder

"Positive behaviour change in individual travel modes generates increased physical activity, a shift change in transport and significantly reduces CO2 . Healthier lifestyles, improved air quality and a major contribution to climate change ensue. The forward thinking of the CASS Entrepreneurship Fund and the innovation of the Government’s Future Fund Scheme ensure that BetterPoints technology can be developed further, through the Covid-19 pandemic, to accelerate this behaviour change – and produce a rich seam of data – with the public sector and private businesses, in the UK and internationally"
