BCB Group has secured £3.2m in a strategic funding round co-led by North Island Ventures and Blockchain.com Ventures. Additional backing came from Pantera, L1 Digital and Pack Capital.
The capital will be deployed to launch several new initiatives, including BCB Treasury for companies investing in bitcoin, BCB Yield Accounts, and BCB Wealth Partners for private wealth clients.
The raise follows a period of rapid growth for the firm, which recorded a nineteenfold increase in transaction volume over the preceding twelve months and processed over $4bn in February 2021 alone.
