B-Secur secures £4m from Accelerated Digital Ventures and Bank of Ireland to scale ECG authentication tech.

Accelerated Digital Ventures and The Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Growth Fund participated in the latest funding round.
B-Secur develops advanced ECG and EKG technology for consumer and medical devices. Its flagship HeartKey algorithms provide medical-grade monitoring capabilities for wearable technology.
Belfast based ECG biometric authentication company B-Secur has secured £4m in funding. The investment was backed by Accelerated Digital Ventures, The Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Growth Fund (NI), and an existing private investor.
The company has developed Heartkey, a technology that uses individual heartbeat patterns for personal identification and physiological monitoring. B-Secur is currently partnering with global automotive, wearable, and semiconductor manufacturers to embed the software into everyday devices.
This capital injection follows recent rapid development and aims to support the firm as it scales its technology globally.
