Bristol-based educational technology developer AutonoMe has secured £406k in a seed follow-on funding round to broaden its support for vulnerable people across education and social care. The capital was provided by City Funds, South East Angels, Bristol Private Equity Club, and existing shareholders. The proceeds will be directed towards expanding services in schools and colleges, as well as launching new employability programmes.

This transaction marks the company's third and largest funding event to date. AutonoMe pairs software with human support, delivering personalised video content to help users prepare for independent living and work while offering sector providers quantifiable progress metrics. Its platform is currently utilised by various local authorities and colleges throughout the United Kingdom.
