Aura Life operates a regulated digital platform for funeral services and pre-paid funeral plans in the UK, aiming to reduce the financial and logistical strain of end-of-life planning.
Aura Life has secured £350k in equity funding from the Coast to Capital Growth Fund, managed by The FSE Group. The broader financing round also saw participation from the Oxford Innovation Fund and the FSE Angel Investor Network.
The capital will be directed towards supporting corporate growth and creating 16 new jobs. Aura Life offers a digital platform for funeral planning and pre-paid plans, presenting a cost-effective alternative to traditional funeral services.
The investment follows a period of rapid expansion for the company, which has achieved over £2m in funeral plan sales since obtaining FCA registration.
