Peak XV led the seed extension, which brings the company total seed financing to $8m.
Auquan provides an artificial intelligence platform designed to automate complex knowledge work for financial services firms. Its technology helps major asset managers and banks streamline tasks like credit memos and risk monitoring.
Auquan has secured £3.5m in fresh funding to support the expansion of its engineering and sales operations. Peak XV led the seed round extension, with additional backing from returning investor Neotribe. The latest injection brings the company total seed financing to $8m.
Founded to tackle complex knowledge tasks in finance, the firm uses retrieval augmented generation and agent architecture to cut report generation times from days to minutes. Major financial institutions including UBS, Federated Hermes, and BC Partners use the software for due diligence, compliance, and investment memos.
