Artificial Societies builds AI-driven societal simulators designed to model human behavior and improve market research. The company provides accessible behavioral analytics tools for marketers, creators, and enterprises.

Artificial Societies has secured £4m in seed funding to expand its behavioural modelling platform and accelerate market reach. The round was led by Point72 Ventures, with participation from angels linked to DeepMind, Strava, and Sequoia Scout.

The London-based startup develops AI societal simulators that help organisations test messaging, predict audience reactions, and conduct market research. The capital will be deployed to enhance platform capabilities, execute go-to-market strategies, and grow partnerships across audience insights and content testing.

Co-founded by behavioural scientists James He and Patrick Sharpe, the company recently launched its flagship product, AS, to provide scalable and affordable social dynamics analysis.

From the founder

"This funding marks a turning point, allowing us to make enterprise-grade behavioral modeling accessible to creators, marketers, and organizations globally. Until now, access to experiment with human behavior at scale has been available only to those with corporate-level market research tools. This investment accelerates our mission of bringing advanced behavioral insights to our users, enabling them to better understand societies, customers and public opinion, and make more informed decisions."
