Apron secures £22.4m Series B funding led by Zinal Growth to expand product development.
The investment round was led by Zinal Growth with participation from Index Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Tony Fadell.
Apron provides a proprietary payments platform that enables small businesses and accountants to manage, reconcile and settle invoices. The company streamlines financial workflows to protect cash flow and reduce administrative burdens.
Apron has secured a £22.4m Series B funding round led by Zinal Growth. The financing also saw participation from existing backers Index Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners, alongside technology innovator Tony Fadell.
The capital will be deployed to expand the company's product and engineering departments. This expansion supports upcoming product launches, including an expense management solution and expanded tools for larger enterprise customers.
The raise follows a period of rapid growth for the London-based fintech, which has seen its customer base multiply following its Series A round in September 2023.
