Applied Blockchain raises £2m in seed funding led by QBN Capital to develop privacy-preserving platforms.

Applied Blockchain is a distributed solutions specialist that builds privacy-enhancing platforms and enterprise applications. Based in London, the firm has delivered numerous projects for corporate clients across sectors such as energy, finance, and transport.
Applied Blockchain has secured £2m in a seed funding round led by QBN Capital. The newly acquired capital will be directed towards developing a platform that utilises privacy-enhancing technologies, enabling firms to collaborate and process shared data securely without exposing underlying information.
The company has previously built over 70 distributed solutions for start-ups and major corporations, including an energy derivative trading platform deployed for Shell. The latest investment will also help the business expand its reach into Asian markets in response to growing enterprise demand for robust data privacy tools.
