ANB Sensors secures Seed investment from Hatch Blue and Namier Capital to commercialise pH technology.
The oversubscribed round will enable the Cambridge based firm to bring its calibration free pH sensors to market.
ANB Sensors develops smart, affordable, self-calibrating pH sensing technologies based on a voltammetric electrochemical technique. The Cambridge based firm provides maintenance free solutions for numerous industrial and environmental sectors.
ANB Sensors has completed a Seed funding round to support the commercialisation of its calibration free pH measuring technologies. The round was backed by Hatch Blue alongside angel investors represented by Namier Capital Partners.
The company has spent years developing smart and self-calibrating pH sensors to address the limitations of traditional glass electrodes, which require frequent manual calibration and struggle in low buffer media. ANB Sensors aims to deploy its drop and forget technology across oceanographic monitoring, water networks, and industrial plants.
The fresh capital follows more than £1.3m in grant funding secured to date, including an H2020 EU grant. The firm is currently scaling operations and expanding internationally while participating in the Hatch Blue accelerator programme.
Investor perspective
"We are delighted to work with ANB Sensors. The team has done a tremendous job to develop this technology and we are excited about the multitude of its applications across many sectors. Measuring pH is a real pain point, not only in aquaculture, and we are glad we can support this much needed solution."
