Aflorithmic Labs has secured £1m in a seed round from Crowd Media Holdings. The capital will support research and development for the company audio production engine, voice cloning capabilities, and talent acquisition.
The London and Barcelona based startup provides an audio-as-a-service platform that uses synthetic media to automate production. Following the investment, Aflorithmic technology will be integrated into Crowd Media social commerce applications, including talking head chatbot tools.
The funding arrives amid growing demand for automated audio solutions driven by increased consumption of podcasts and audiobooks. Crowd Media views the partnership as a key commercial innovation for consumer engagement in ecommerce.
