Adthena has secured £10.6m in Series A funding from Updata Partners to fuel expansion in the US market. The capital will also support ongoing product development for the company paid search platform and the launch of new channels. Updata Partners joins the board as part of the transaction.

The business currently works with more than 200 major brands, utilizing natural language processing and machine learning to provide competitive intelligence. Executives note that the fresh backing will help accelerate delivery of new capabilities requested by clients.
