Addionics manufactures smart 3D current collectors designed to enhance battery performance while reducing production costs. The technology integrates into existing manufacturing lines to improve capacity, safety, and charging times across various battery chemistries.

Addionics has secured £30.3m in a Series B funding round co-led by GM Ventures and Deep Insight, with participation from Scania and other strategic investors. The capital will be directed towards expanding manufacturing capabilities, building global teams, and advancing construction on a planned US giga-factory.

The company produces 3D current collectors that enhance battery performance through better thermal management, faster charging times, and increased stability. With this financing, management intends to commence commercial production by the end of the year and scale up distribution for automotive partners.
