AccuRx has secured £355k through a combined SEIS and EIS funding round. The capital was provided by a group of business angels, including Anvil Partners.
The company is currently developing software intended to help physicians lower inappropriate antibiotic prescriptions, addressing a primary driver of anti-microbial resistance. The proceeds from the round will be allocated toward building the software platform and executing a pilot study across general practice surgeries in Oxfordshire.
Previously, AccuRx showcased its proposition at an Angels in MedCity event held in November 2016.
