52North is a medical technology company focused on transforming urgent care pathways in oncology through accessible patient solutions. The Cambridge-based firm develops innovative diagnostic tools designed to improve health equity and patient safety.

Cambridge-based medical technology company 52North has secured £4.7m in a funding round co-led by KHP Ventures and Cedars-Sinai Intellectual Property Co. The financing also attracted participation from OKG Capital, Cambridge Enterprise Ventures, Cancer Research Horizons, Macmillan Cancer Support, and high-net-worth angels including Jonathan Milner and Roland Diggelmann.

The capital will be directed towards advancing the company's product portfolio toward commercialisation. Key priorities include the development of the flagship Neutrocheck device for monitoring neutropenic sepsis risks, progression through the Aster platform, and the rollout of the ACORN digital platform.

The transaction marks a notable cross-border collaboration between leading hospital venture funds from the UK and the US. Alongside the equity financing, the firm also secured a $1.5m grant from the National Institute for Health and Care Research.
