London-based fintech firm 20|30 has completed a £3m tokenised equity offering issuance as part of the Financial Conduct Authority regulatory sandbox programme. The test issuance was executed using TokenFactory, a capital raising platform developed by 20|30, in partnership with Nivaura acting as custodian.
The transaction connected a regulated trading venue, the Turquoise Plato platform, with a public blockchain infrastructure by sending settlement instructions directly via the platform. This demonstration highlights potential new methods for companies to issue and manage capital efficiently.
