Specialist software developer 15below has secured seed investment from private equity firm LDC to support its next growth phase. The company provides automated passenger communication platforms for airlines and travel operators around the world. LDC is backing the existing management team as they execute a five-year strategy focused on technology development.
Alongside the investment, former Amadeus executive Ian Wheeler has been appointed as chair of the company. LDC executives Aylesh Patel and Josh Wachman will also join the board as non-executive directors as part of the transaction.
