The London-based digital branding platform secured £2m from Notion Capital, Angel CoFund, and VentureFounders.

"Many years ago we set out to build a platform that would empower programmatic digital trading with levels of creativity not otherwise seen, while baking in as automated features, optimum solutions for real-time fraud management. It has taken a long time but we are truly excited to now be in market with what many say is a game-changing offering. Being able to close a round at this particular time is a testament to that technology offering and the belief shown by existing and new investors alike. I am also thrilled to welcome the Angel CoFund to the business."

$20.5M

The strategic funding round was backed by eight major financial institutions including BNY Mellon, Citi, Clearstream, Computershare, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, and State Street.

"We’re extremely proud of what Proxymity has achieved so far within Citi since we developed the platform in 2017. To date, Proxymity has supported over 3,000 shareholder meetings and, after successful pilots, we’ve fully launched the platform in the UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and Australia, as well as a pilot in Spain,"

FTV Capital led the £78.4m growth equity round with backing from existing investors to support new market entries and product development.

"We’re delighted to close this round with the full support of our investors. This investment gives us the opportunity to look ahead, create more jobs and provide the insurance pet owners care about for years to come."

The Newcastle technology start-up secured backing from Mercia and the North East Venture Fund to expand its team and product.

"Sales is no longer about the 'gift of the gab'. It is a repeatable and structured process and technology can help to achieve results faster. Allegrow allows companies to increase sales dramatically by eliminating repetitive processes, allowing sales people to spend more of their time having conversations with prospects and turning cold leads into customers."

The company raised the capital from new and existing backers to support the rollout of home-learning tools.

"Given the backdrop, to attract such strong investor interest is extremely pleasing. The new funding will help us to continue our mission to protect children on mobile devices, whether at school or in the home. Mobile Guardian was already gaining traction as more and more schools around the world began to use remote learning as a key part of a child's education. The lockdown has accelerated the trend, and I want to thank all our staff who have been working hard to support clients from remote locations. Mobile Guardian has an exciting future."
