The Southampton developer has completed a Series A round led by Foresight Ventures following its recent product launch at CES.
"We would like to welcome our new investors to Audioscenic and would also like to say a huge thank you to our existing investors for their past and continued support"
The financing round was led by Pembroke VCT and Downing Healthcare Ventures to support the company in scaling its AI surgical technology.
"Cydar Medical is at a key inflection point and we are working to leverage our novel world-class platform and capabilities to rapidly scale our intelligent surgical maps offering through increasing the number of end-users and launching additional value-add capabilities on the platform."
The London startup has raised funding led by Ian Hogarth at Plural alongside strategic angels to grow its team and accelerate partnerships.
"The scale and speed at which harmful content can spread across social networks and the internet is only growing. Online platforms can’t handle the complexity of moderating these billions of daily images, videos and other posts, whilst human moderation has proven to be ineffective at dealing with the volume of content as well as being largely harmful to those involved. At Unitary, we’re committed to making the internet a safer place for everyone and with the support of investors like Plural, who understand the complexity of developing and scaling deep tech, we can see a clear route to making an impact on this snowballing problem that affects us all."
Mercia Asset Management and Pearson backed the Series A round to fund international expansion and team growth.
"Daniela Tsoneva, Investor at Mercia, said: “We are excited to support Nelson and his team in their quest to transform workplace learning. HowNow’s dynamic matching technology ensures users receive the right learning content at the right time. The company is a pioneer in the relatively new but fast-growing learning experience sector and has the potential to become a market leader. The funding will help it expand its global footprint and continue its rapid growth trajectory."
The Series A round was led by Thairm Bio to support the expansion of same-day medication delivery across the UK.
"This round of investment is particularly crucial in helping us scale our offering and realising our vision of establishing Phlo as the market leader in the delivery of next-generation digital pharmacy services right across the UK. We have a very busy roadmap ahead and some incredibly exciting opportunities to take advantage of in 2023 and beyond"
