Crane led the seed round with backing from Earlybird Digital East, Seedcamp, and multiple angel investors.

"It is well understood that user permission requirements get more complex as enterprise clients get bigger, and serve users in different roles, with a complex number of permission exceptions. To save companies from building this from scratch, Cerbos’ open-source approach radically simplifies user and role permissions by abstracting away the complexity. At Crane, we’ve been blown away by how much value their early users are already getting from the system."

£100K

Maven Capital Partners and the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund backed the Liverpool-based retail data platform.

"MG was founded by a strong team of retail experts and the technology they've created addresses a genuine need for both retailers and consumers. MG have received encouraging traction from several high-profile retailers, and we're pleased to support Richard, Stephen and Stewart at such a pivotal point in the company's growth journey. We look forward to working with the team to help drive MG forward."

£3.0M

The Manchester-based cyber security platform raised £3m from backers including Senovo and Passion Capital.

"We successfully gain access to organisations’ data and systems every time and it’s almost always as a result of human behaviour or error. As an example, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is often touted as a key cyber defence – yet we find that an average of 32% of employees accept MFA authentication requests sent by attackers, essentially opening the door for them. The traditional awareness training approach simply doesn’t improve behaviours like this – hacking people is still too easy."

Series C
£150M

Nyca Partners led the Series C round, which values the business at over $1bn and includes backing from several major global banks.

"We are delighted to have earned the support of our new and existing investors as we continue to move the world’s leading banks into the cloud. We set out to eradicate legacy technology from the industry and ensure that all banks deployed on Vault can succeed and deliver on their ambitions. These new funds will accelerate the delivery of Vault into banks around the world who wish to implement their future vision of financial services."
— Paul Taylor, CEO & founder
Series C
£142M

The Series C round was co-led by Index Ventures and ICONIQ Growth to support team expansion and platform growth.

"In 2017, we set out to reinvent how people sell their cars, transforming a broken offline process by introducing a superior online experience. Our team has dedicated themselves to this mission through unprecedented times – enabling us to turn a traditionally lose-lose market into a win-win for our customers and dealer partners."
— Tom Leathes, CEO
