DSW Ventures has led a pre-seed round into Manchester-based mobile commerce innovator TheNextLevel.
"DSW Ventures' investment process was instrumental in helping us refine our commercial strategy. Their experience and guidance have been invaluable, and we're thrilled to have them and Elizabeth on board as we look to grow our team and set a firm foundation for scalable growth. Our partnership with Offlane and Oscar Piastri is fantastic validation of our platform and the potential that Community Commerce holds for brands to build meaningful connections with their audiences."
Maven Capital Partners led the funding round to support product development and business scaling.
"Connected Data’s service addresses a critical challenge for utility and financial services companies. With the cost of living crisis driving household debt to new heights, and stricter guidelines like the FCA’s Consumer Duty coming into play, companies are under increasing pressure to refine their debt collection processes. Connected Data has already proven its value for clients by reducing the time, cost, and complexity of debt management while increasing confidence in data accuracy and recovery rates. We are excited to work with Kirk and his team to further scale the business and explore new growth opportunities."
Optiver led the financing round with participation from FactSet, Nasdaq Ventures, IQ Capital and CTC Venture Capital.
"We are thrilled to welcome Optiver as a significant shareholder and are delighted to have the ongoing support from our existing investors who have backed the latest round. We have an incredibly diverse team of supporting investors, with deep-seated global market and technology expertise, and we are poised to scale the business further, as we build out and scale our data feed business and futures coverage and wider product offering globally."
"We believe this collaboration will provide us with significant expertise in enterprise software alongside deep operational resources which will play a critical role in fueling Avantra’s next phase of expansion."
Two new investors have joined the board with a combined 40% stake after a six week process.
"This was a particularly enjoyable project to work on. Management were always responsive and professional in their dealings with investors we introduced. Terms were quickly negotiated and from start to finish the whole investment process took just six weeks and that included all of August!"
