Zinc VC has led a pre-seed funding round in Native Labs to accelerate platform deployment and feature development.
"We are excited to be partnering with the Native Labs team as they build the critical infrastructure required to accelerate the development and delivery of cell therapies. Their platform is addressing one of the most challenging bottlenecks in the field, enabling more seamless, data-driven communication between developers and manufacturers. In a market that is growing rapidly, and with the potential to transform patient outcomes, Native Labs is not only solving a deeply complex technical challenge but unlocking a massive opportunity for impact across the entire cell and gene therapy ecosystem."
The financing round will fund product enhancements and accelerate the company footprint across Europe.
"Novisto was created to address the data challenges of sustainability reporting by applying modern technology and data discipline to the sustainability sector. This initiative was driven by the recognition of a market need to bring digital transformation to the sustainability function. The market demands transparent, accurate, and decision-grade sustainability information."
The funding round was jointly backed by NPIF and Finance Yorkshire with £500k each.
"Healthcare services worldwide rely on rapid and accurate laboratory testing. However, training staff is costly, and machine downtime is commonplace, often due to operator error or simple faults that could easily be fixed with the right support. We believe our platform will dramatically improve productivity by enhancing staff skills and keeping equipment up and running, while also reducing warranty costs for manufacturers."
The Nottingham-based scheduling infrastructure provider has raised £15m from growth capital investor BGF.
"Cronofy is a stand-out tech success story that has achieved global recognition in its vertical for having the most reliable embedded scheduling infrastructure. Its ROI for a range of different customer types and size, including enterprise, is compelling. It has a customer centric, product first growth strategy that has already generated 60% of its sales from the more mature US market. We look forward to partnering with this impressive management team who have a proven track record in solving problems for customers and scaling tech businesses."
The investment round includes participation from LDV Capital, MMC, and Navus Ventures.
"We are thrilled to have secured further investment to accelerate our mission of revolutionising controlled environment agriculture. By scaling our technology, expanding our commercial team and strengthening our market presence, we can help growers optimise yields, reduce waste and produce higher-quality food more efficiently. This is a major step forward in making precision plant intelligence accessible at a global scale."
