Achmea Innovation Fund has backed the micromobility insurer in a round led by Shift4Good.

The extension round brings total funding to £55m and will support expansion across the UK and Europe.

March Capital led the Series B round with backing from National Grid Partners and Slaughter and May to fund expansion in the United States.
"This latest round of funding will help us to bring our technology to new markets, strengthen our foothold in the United States where Luminance now generates over one third of its revenue, and solidify our position as the clear market leader in this space."
Avenir Growth Capital led the Series B round, which will fund international expansion and platform growth.

The Series B round was led by Taiwania Capital to support international expansion and platform development.
