CN Bio is a leading provider of single-organ and multi-organ microphysiological systems designed to improve preclinical drug discovery. The company delivers advanced Organ-on-a-Chip solutions that reduce reliance on animal models and provide human-relevant data.

CN Bio has secured £17m in the first close of its Series B funding round to accelerate product development and scale its commercial operations. The investment was backed by new and existing stakeholders, including Bayland Capital and founding shareholder CN Innovations. The capital will support the company as it meets growing global demand for its Organ-on-a-Chip technology across key markets such as toxicology and metabolic diseases.

The financing follows a period of significant commercial momentum and regulatory milestones for the firm, including data support for clinical trial approvals in metabolic liver disease. By expanding its portfolio and R&D capabilities, CN Bio aims to enhance preclinical workflows for pharmaceutical developers and reduce late-stage clinical failures.
