Zuto secures £7m Series C funding from Scottish Equity Partners and Columbia Lake Partners to drive expansion

Zuto operates a car finance marketplace with offices in Manchester and Macclesfield, employing more than 300 staff. The company focuses on bringing transparency and simplicity to the car finance sector.
Manchester car finance marketplace Zuto has raised £7m in a Series C funding round to support its ongoing expansion. The investment was backed by existing backer Scottish Equity Partners alongside technology investment specialist Columbia Lake Partners.
The capital will be directed towards further investments in technology, enhancing customer experience, and expanding headcount across the company's offices in Manchester and Macclesfield. Alongside the funding announcement, the business appointed Chris Slater, co-founder and former COO of Simply Business, to its board.
Chief executive James Wilkinson noted that the round underscores the firm's ambitions to improve trust and transparency within the UK car finance market.
