Zinc secures £5m Series A funding from AXA Venture Partners and Seedcamp to expand globally
AXA Venture Partners led the Series A round with backing from Seedcamp to help accelerate product development and international growth.
Zinc is a London-based investor and venture builder that creates and backs mission-driven technology companies focused on major societal challenges. It targets areas such as mental health, environmental protection, elderly care, and the impacts of automation.
Zinc has secured £5m in a Series A funding round led by AXA Venture Partners, with participation from Seedcamp. The capital will be used to expand the company's global presence and accelerate product innovation.
Founded in 2017 and based in London, Zinc provides automated background checks and work identity verification across more than 190 countries. Its platform integrates with major HR systems to process checks quickly and securely for hundreds of employers.
