ZILO builds software for asset and wealth management firms to replace legacy systems and modernise operations. The company provides cloud-based platforms designed for global custodians and fund managers.
Zilo raised £25m in an oversubscribed Series A funding round in January 2024. The capital came from a group of prominent institutional backers including Fidelity International Strategic Ventures, Portage, State Street Corporation and Citi, alongside employees and management. The funds supported the firm as it advanced its technology platform for the financial sector.
Subsequently, in October 2024, Altered Capital acquired a 6.5% stake in the business from early seed investors, joining the existing shareholder base.
