London-based ZERØTEC provides artificial intelligence software to optimise textile pattern design and cutting in clothing production. The technology aims to reduce material waste and improve environmental sustainability for fashion brands.

London-based fashion technology startup ZERØTEC has secured £642k in a pre-seed funding round led by Bethnal Green Ventures. The raise also saw participation from SFC Capital, SCE Freiraum Ventures, Cranfield University Seed Fund, and angel investor Benjamin Manwaring.

The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development, expand the team, and scale pilot projects with global fashion partners. ZERØTEC applies artificial intelligence to pattern design and cutting processes to minimise textile waste at the source.

Launched earlier in the year, the platform has already attracted more than 250 users from global brands. The company aims to address pre-consumer textile waste in the fashion industry.
