The funding round was led by Round2 Capital and will support international expansion and software scaling.
Zen Educate operates an online marketplace that matches schools with supply teachers and teaching assistants. The platform reduces recruitment expenses and streamlines administrative workflows for educational institutions.
Zen Educate has secured £29m in a Series B funding round led by Round2 Capital. The investment includes participation from existing backers Adjuvo, Brighteye Ventures, FJ Labs, Ascension Ventures, and various angel investors including Octopus chief executive Simon Rogerson.
The capital will be deployed to support further acquisitions in the UK and the US, expand regional operations, and scale the company suite of workforce management software. This financing follows the acquisition of Aquinas Education and positions the firm for continued growth in the educational staffing sector.
