Zedsen secures £8.7m Series B round from angel investors to develop non-invasive biosensor technology.
The health technology company has closed a £8.7m Series B investment backed by high-profile angel investors.
Zedsen is a British health technology company developing non-invasive sensors that gather biological data from the bloodstream. Its skin-surface technology aims to provide consumers with continuous insights into their personal health and wellbeing.
Zedsen has secured £8.7m in a Series B funding round to support the development of its non-invasive health monitoring technology. The investment follows the appointment of former Babylon Health chief technology officer Dr Caroline Hargrove to the leadership team.
The financing drew backing from several prominent angel investors, including former UBS chief executive Joseph R Grano, NJK Holding founder Nasser Kazeminy, former Cable and Wireless chief executive Tony Rice, Red Cross chairperson Bonnie McElveen-Hunter, and Palm Beach Capital investor Jim Harpel.
The company is focused on commercialising its surface-level biosensor, which is designed to capture continuous biophysical data from the bloodstream without the need for needles or skin punctures. Zedsen intends to use these internal metrics alongside external indicators to deliver personalised health insights for diet, fertility, and chronic disease prevention.
