Jenson Funding Partners backed the London-based online dermatology service to support platform development and service expansion.

£220KOther

ZappedSkin is an online dermatology service offering remote acne consultations and treatments with UK-trained specialists.

ZappedSkin, a London-based teledermatology platform, has secured £220k in financing from Jenson Funding Partners to expand its treatment offerings and technology. The capital will be allocated towards hiring, marketing, and developing the application to cover a broader range of skin conditions.

Founded in 2020, the company connects acne sufferers with UK-trained dermatologists through video and text consultations, bypassing traditional NHS wait times. Medications and tests are delivered directly to patients without requiring GP referrals.

The fresh capital will support the startup as it transitions towards offering personalised topical skincare, prescription medications, and subscription-based aftercare maintenance packages.

Investor perspective

"ZappedSkin has demonstrated a fantastic product-market fit by quickly garnering a large customer base, who were looking for a better way to receive skincare treatment. We are proud to support this team, who are already making a big difference in people's lives,"
