Yuup secures £200k from Bristol and Bath Regional Capital to expand regional operations.
Regional impact investor Bristol and Bath Regional Capital has backed the experience marketplace in a new funding round.
Yuup operates a digital marketplace for bookable local experiences, workshops and activities organised by independent hosts. The platform connects urban communities with unique events while supporting small businesses and enterprises.
Yuup has secured £200k in new funding from regional impact investor Bristol and Bath Regional Capital. The capital will be used to support the marketplace as it strengthens its expansion in Birmingham and grows its presence in Bristol.
The digital platform launched in Bristol before expanding to Birmingham, offering curated in-person activities hosted by local people, charities and businesses. The company previously raised £250k from City Funds managed by Bristol and Bath Regional Capital in 2021.
Chief executive Dominic Mills noted the platform has supported over 400 small businesses since launch. The latest investment will help scale operations and local impact further.
