Yoti raises £7.5m in convertible debt from existing shareholders

Digital identity provider Yoti has secured £7.5m in convertible debt from existing shareholders, alongside a separate £12.5m debt injection from HSBC. The combined £20m package is intended to support the business as it moves towards profitability. This latest capital injection follows a £10m investment from Lloyds Banking Group earlier in the year, bringing total funding past the £166m mark since inception.
