Yimba provides a multimedia and marketing platform designed to improve bank digital wallet integrations. The company offers cloud-based CRM, CMS, and marketing services integrated across proprietary payment networks.

Welsh software firm Yimba has secured a bridge round of financing backed by the Development Bank of Wales and a group of private investors. The capital will be used to support immediate network and bank integrations while accelerating the development of next generation features for its core digital wallet platform.

The latest injection of funds follows previous seed backing from the Development Bank of Wales, which helped the company build its initial technology platform. Yimba focuses on upgrading existing connections to major digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay through a cloud-based system.

Leadership at the firm noted that the ongoing support from its early backers validates the strategic direction of the business. The company aims to capitalise on rising demand for enhanced digital banking tools ahead of a planned UK market launch and strategic partnership announcements.
