The private equity firm secured the capital in seven weeks across its two managed venture capital trusts.
YFM Equity Partners is a private equity firm managing venture capital trusts to invest in regional businesses across the UK. The firm maintains offices in Leeds, Manchester, London, Reading and Birmingham.
YFM Equity Partners has closed a £60m fundraising round for its two managed venture capital trusts in just seven weeks. The capital will support the firm in continuing to back dynamic small and medium enterprises nationwide, with a particular focus on the technology sector. The funds draw commitments from more than 10,000 private investors supporting innovative businesses across the country.
The raise follows a series of successful deployments into high-growth British enterprises, including Matillion, Force24 and Outpost VFX. YFM manages over £400m in funds and targets investments between £2m and £10m to assist scaling companies with international expansion and operational development.
