£15.5MSeries D+

XMOS is a Bristol based technology company specialising in voice processing, edge AI and internet of things applications. Its silicon architecture and software provide voice enabled solutions for consumer devices.

XMOS has secured £15.5m in a Series F financing round led by Harbert European Growth Capital, with participation from existing investors. The capital comprises equity funding alongside a venture debt facility designed to support the firm without diluting current shareholders.

The proceeds will be directed towards international expansion, including growth of the Hong Kong office and new staff recruitment. Funds will also support product development to advance the company roadmap for the Artificial Intelligence of Things and consolidate its position in far field voice interfaces.

The Bristol based company builds on a decade of deep technology experience in consumer electronics. The fresh capital aims to accelerate commercialisation of its voice interface technology and expand its portfolio into smart homes, smart cities and smart factories.
