Infineon Technologies led the investment round with participation from existing backers including Amadeus Capital Partners and Foundation Capital.
XMOS is a Bristol based technology company specialising in voice processing, edge AI and internet of things applications. Its silicon architecture and software provide voice enabled solutions for consumer devices.
Bristol-based XMOS has secured £11.1m in a Series E funding round led by Infineon Technologies. The company provides voice capture and audio technology for consumer electronics, combining silicon architecture with software.
Participation in the round also came from existing backers Amadeus Capital Partners, Draper Esprit, Foundation Capital, and Robert Bosch Venture Capital. The capital will be directed towards product development initiatives as the business scales its operations.
The investment also deepens an existing relationship with Infineon, following collaborative work on sensor fusion technology.
