Wonky Star develops digital education software designed to encourage children to improve their creative writing and drawing skills.

Wonky Star has secured £600k in funding led by Newable Private Investing to support its expansion into more schools. The capital will help the company scale its creative learning platform, Night Zookeeper, which engages children through drawing and storytelling.

The investment follows a recent agreement with Oxford University Press to publish a book series based on the platform. Wonky Star previously received backing from Newable in 2014 during a seed round.

From the founder
