Wireless Logic secures a valuation of £3.5bn from General Atlantic and Montagu.
General Atlantic has acquired a minority stake in the Internet of Things provider via its climate growth equity fund, with Montagu remaining the majority shareholder.
Wireless Logic provides global Internet of Things connectivity and management solutions for businesses across multiple sectors. The platform allows clients to connect and oversee devices across various geographies and networks.
Wireless Logic has secured investment valuing the business at £3.5bn, with General Atlantic joining as a new minority shareholder through its BeyondNetZero fund. Existing backer Montagu will retain its majority stake and reinvest alongside the incoming investor. The transaction is expected to complete in the third quarter of 2025.
Founded in 2000, the company offers an Internet of Things connectivity platform supporting more than 18m devices across 165 countries. The fresh capital will support the firm as it pursues organic growth and acquisitions to drive international expansion and enhance its service offering.
Vittorio Colao of General Atlantic is set to join the board alongside chairman Sir Michael Rake following the transaction.
